Proctor Creek Greenway Ribbon Cutting Ceremony Held
Monday, May 7th saw a major milestone for Grove Park as the first phase of the Proctor Creek Trail Greenway was officially opened by Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms.

This newly opened stretch is the first part of a trail that will eventually run to the Chattahoochee River, linking Maddox Park to the river and hopefully one day the Silver Comet Trail.
Per the AJC, Mayor Bottoms called completing the greenway “a priority of my administration,” at the same time the Mayor expressed releif that “a once overwhelmingly polluted waterway has been revitalized,”.
