Atlanta’s Westside Center Stage to host Beloved Benefit

The Inaugural Beloved Benefit sponsored/hosted by The Chick fil A Foundation and Arthur Blanks AMB Group celebrated local nonprofits that are actively making positive change through creating sustainable growth and development on the Westside. Inaugural beneficiaries: The At-Promise Youth and Community Center, City of Refuge, The Westside Future Fund Westside Works and our very own Grove Park Foundation the evening raised over 5 million in support.

During the event, 10 smaller nonprofit organizations will be recognized with Beacon Awards. These awards will honor the organizations' resiliency and continued work to advance the Westside and current Westside residents. All of the event's honorees are responsible for progress across multiple areas of need on the Westside of Atlanta. They represent the impactful work done in the community over many years. The Beloved Benefit will increase awareness of issues impacting the area and be a catalyst for developing long-term partnerships for future work.

Inspired by Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s Beloved Community, the inaugural Beloved Benefit was star-studded from our elected officials Congressman Lewis, Mayor Bottoms, Dr. Bernice King, to King of the South TIP Harris, Cee Low Green, and mega stars Emelie Sande, Steve Harvey and Bruno Mars to close out the evening and so many more.
