Friends of Grove Park
The Grove Park neighborhood was designed with parks in mind. As neighbors, it is our duty to steward our greenspaces for this and future generations to come.
The Friends of Grove Park was established in June 2019 under the Park Pride model to raise philanthropic and volunteer for Grove Park (the City of Atlanta park), the community’s six historic median parks (South Evelyn, North Evelyn, Gertrude Place, Matilda Place Park, Edwin Place, and Elinor Place), and the Grove Park Community Garden.
Over the coming months and years, the Friends Group intends to pursue technical assistance through Park Pride’s Visioning Program. All Friends efforts are spearheaded by the GPNA Environmental and Beautification Committee. If you’re interested in joining the Friends’ efforts, please reach out to Matt Josey (email@example.com) to find out how you can plug in.
