EOY income $630 current balance $941 Community Foundation Grant 4K check coming within weeks which has been earmarked based on the grant

  • Creekside Update – T.Austin Save the date May 19th 
  • Grove Park Foundation zoning request – D.Edelson GPF/R. Kunansky Columbia
  • Plan is to use land behind Theater/Pawn shop for building affordable housing units 105 units total. GPF is applying for State low income tax credit plan is to have 105 units Mixed income 60% at low income 40% at market rate. 
  • Application process is very competitive only 2 projects in COA will get approved. Application open once per year in May. With support from Purpose Built Communities they have a good chance of getting the credit that will allow them offer more affordable units. This is the first step in a 2-3 years process. 
  • T-Austin took vote from GPNA members 11 yay/0 nay non-members vote 16 yay/0 nay

   a.  possible ribbon cutting February 2018 there is a 20% of the trail unfinished 

   b.  Grove Park trailhead not yet started construction plan is complete

  • Community Announcements/Comments 

      Charles Harper –Paradise we need to have community engagement   

real solid  plan to engage to give as many a seat at the table as possible

Torrie Redding will the community have any engagement as it relates to the plans for Bellwood Quarry Park

Response: A. Bartell not as of yet when the city engages NPU-J I will make sure the communication come to GPNA

Debra Edelson introduce Tarnace Watkins to GPF team will be working on workforce development and business growth
